A new day...what possibilities!

I did my mile this morning...easy peasy! I'm really getting psyched about doing this marathon. I think b/c it is in December and the thought of cold weather excites me :) It's been nice but it is still pretty warm, and the fact that our apartment complex has had the pools closed for about 2 months now really pisses me off! We heard from our realtor yesterday and it LOOKS like we may close on Tuesday or Wednesday. We HAVE to have all of our stuff out of Gwen's garage by next week so we are really cutting it close here. It would be so nice if we could move at our leisure and not be in a hurry like last time. Oh well, at least we will have a house with a yard and the boys can play and ride bikes, that makes it all worthwhile! Penn is in a golf tourney today and tomorrow so he is staying the night with his brother so it's me and the boys tonight! Late bedtime for them and an early one for me, we should all crash about 9ish. Tomorrow the boys go back with Jane to Columbus so we will hopefully catch up on some sleep! Until then...

Buckle up...here we go!

Well Sarah...you win! I resisted blogging (if that's correct terminology?!?) but thought why the heck not. I can share all the fun of my marathon training, all the woes of buy a home and all the little joys of children! Today is Sam's 2 year b-day...time has flown by! We are currently looking for a house... I guess. We were supposed to close 2 weeks ago on a home but that road has been filled with every pothole you can humanly imagine. First we make too much money to qualify, then we make to little, the owner calls CUSSING us for what they found was their mistake. Just when we thought it was over, the owner/agent of the home we were buying misrepresented herself and tried to spring a few surprises on us THE DAY BEFORE we were supposed to close. Now we are having qualification issues again...OIVAY! But the running is going well :) And my children are happy and alive so I can't complain much! We earned today off of work today so I took the kids to the sitter and am going to do laundry...yea! Then take a nap and then have lunch with the hubby...that's a packed day for me. So, welcome all and I hope you enjoy the shenanigans that you encounter here...buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
